Under-counter and upright fridges, freezers, prep counters, salad wells, gastronorm tops. Common faults: condenser fan motor, door gasket failure, defrost timer, evaporator coil blockage. Most fixes are same-visit with stock parts.

Ice machines

Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Brema. Common issues: scale build-up (we descale on-site), water pump failures, harvest cycle faults, evaporator coil contamination. Annual descale should be part of any PPM contract on a high-output ice machine.

Blast chillers

HACCP-critical kit. We verify cool-down rates against the manufacturer spec, check defrost cycles, and review the cycle log. Common failures: defrost element, expansion device, condenser fan. Treated as same-day priority because of the food-safety implication.

PPM contracts

Quarterly for high-turnover kitchens, biannual for slower-paced sites. Every visit: condenser cleans on all cabinets, door gasket inspection, ice machine descale where due, refrigerant pressure logs, temperature trace review. Multi-site groups get consolidated reporting and batched pricing (typically 10-20% saving on per-site rates).

Do you handle blast chiller failures?

Yes. Blast chillers are time-critical (HACCP rules on cool-down times), so we treat them as same-day priority. We'll pressure-test the system, verify the defrost cycle is running correctly, and confirm the chiller is hitting the required cool-down rates before signing off.
